Terms & Policies

RESERVATION POLICIES:

Once your time is reserved, you should receive a confirmation and reminder before your appointment. Please plan to arrive no more than 10 minutes early. I suggest that you give yourself an extra half-hour after the service before your next commitment so that you do not need to rush away.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please give me at least 24 hrs advance notice if you will not be able to make your appointment. If you do not show up to a scheduled appointment, you may be asked to pay up to 100% of the cost of the service. Please do not come to your appointment sick, you will not be charged if you must cancel due to illness.

COMMUNICATION:

Throughout the session I will check in about pressure, temperature and comfort. Please always speak up if something does not feel right for you. My practice is an open and affirming place for people of all backgrounds and gender expressions, including history of trauma, and I want you to feel safe and seen. I offer a space of openness to be and express exactly as you are, and am open to feedback in the moment or after the session, so please feel welcome to reach out.

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

I am a holistic health care provider and it is not in my scope of practice to diagnose or treat medical conditions. You are responsible for communicating any preexisting medical conditions and medications during our intake process. You may be asked for clearance from your medical doctor if you have cancer history, heart condition, recent injury, or pain that has not been evaluated by a healthcare professional.

COVID-19:

I will wear a mask during your appointment. If you have recently traveled, please consider waiting 14 days before coming in for an appointment. If you are sick, please do not come in to your appointment, and call to reschedule as soon as possible. Please adhere to all local health guidelines, such as wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer, and frequent hand washing. If you develop symptoms of covid-19 or get a positive test result 1-3 day after your appointment please contact me so we can prevent the spread of infection.
